Lots of questions, new to the game
1)Why is there no underscore on the qwerty keyboard? If its there, I'm blind. A couple email addresses I use have underscore.
2)I get way better reception on sprint with my old, nearly dead sanyo from 5 years ago. Is it the network or the phone?
3) More on above, I was standing next to a verizon customer that has a basic motorola flip phone, don't know the model, I had 1 bar and he had 3. Whats the deal?
4)Why when texting, can u only type 160 characters? Is this a common on all phones?
5)This aggrevates me: Why do I have to go to the task manager to "kill" app...

2)Nothing beats a sanyo for reception, especially the older ones. While the network could have some impact, it is more likely the phone.
3)Manufacturers indicate signal strength differently, and even the same manufacturer can have some variation between models, especially when internal antennae are concerned.
4)160 is the system imposed limit on SMS tect messages. The Q should auto-divide a message over 160 characters into 2 messages, but that is on Sprint, so I can't say for sure about the dirty V
5)The "Kill" is probably the biggest problem with Windows on the Q, and there isn't really a good way around it that I amaware of....

you have to hit the Function key followed immediately by the Shift key. This will bring up a large menu of special characters and the underscore is the first selection.
Tried this and it works with a small delay. The trick is to release the Fn button. If you hit both at the same time, the symbol menu will not come up.
Also, again, this is on the Sprint Q, but the same should be true on the Verizon one, as long as VZ didn't completely screw up the phone.
