i am unable to set the ring volume up anywhere near what it sounds like in settings.
i have 2 phones- same symptom. tracfone told me to have a nice day.
i feel these fones are defective but maybe i am missing something.
would anybody be able to help????

disregard the above post.
if the fone is open on the table the ring tones are attenuated. if the fone is closed the ring tones are as set under settings.
it is really the way it should be; well thought out.
