Yes, even though I think people who text on their phones are lame and should get some face to face people skills, I would probably spend $50 on this phone so I could text people while I was on the can 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I have great face to face people skills. But I text a lot to friends who aren't face to face with me. Plus sometimes it is just easier to text someone then it is to call them.

Text: "Bob, please pick up Jack on your way home from work. Thanks." Simple.

Instead of . . . ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, "Hi, you have reached the voice mail of Bob McAss. I am unable to answer the phone right now, so please leave a detailed message after the tone and I will call you back as soon as I can." Wait for beep. "Hey Bob, can you pick up Jack on your way home from work?" Press # and then hang up. Took longer. Not cool when in a hurry.

For my job, we text each other all of the time. It's easier that way. Just because you do not like te...

Actually you're not the average customer anymore. With all of the big carriers starting to offer some kind of unlimited texting package. Plus AIM being as big as it is, along with Yahoo instant messenger and other IM clients . . . texting is huge business. And not just in the US, but around the world. It JUST caught on here where it's been big business in the rest of the world.

It does not matter how you get your message out, you're still getting your message out. If texting with your friends is lame, then riddle me this: Why isn't coming on a forum, hiding behind your computer, not lame? At least with texting, you are communicating with people you know.

🙄 Ok, lets see... let me guess, you are almost 40y/o, live in Kentucky/middle of no where... yes, texting is lame, in your own lilworld. BUT YOU ARE NOT AN AVERAGER USE, you are below average 🙄 . in the real world, time is money, text saves you time. im a sociable person, and texting is just another way to talk to my friends even more, not just them, even my parents text me. real average and high end users, do use texting, and 80% of them got unlimited texting, im sorry if you cant afford texting.... ☹️

Texting is indeed a lot easier than calling someone.

Take this into consideration: You are out but plans change suddenly. You need to let 5 of your friends know where the new meeting place will be. You could either take the 10 minutes and call each one individually or you can send out 5 texts at the same time so they all get it within seconds.

Honeslty, EVERYONE texts and if you claim that you don't then you're clearly slow when it comes to technology.

Well Im looking forward to this phone. I plan to get it for my birthday and I send 2k to 3k text A MONTH. Everyone at my school has texting and has an enV. SO as Sprint has smartly done, they got the Rumor. The only thing about texting is CHAIN LETTER.. pass it on or you will die? Hmm, no. But this one looks solid and I look forward to seeing the offical PhoneScoop reveiw.

No, not at all. 1x data, low res screen, limited RAM; I would wait for a new version to come out. Don't waste your money just yet.

Well, as far as other things, they might come out wiht a really nice update.. I mean if you think about it (or this is how I think of it) the more apps and other things you have running in the background, the less battery life. And all I really do is talk but I text more. SO with a RAZR V3m, there a lot on the phone running in the background. My batter life is 2 to 3 hours if im texting like a mad man. But that phone has: EVDO, Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV, On Demand, etc. So if you need a solid messaging phone that looks cool, and might possibly have a better battery life becuase of the things NOT on the phone, then thats something a middle schooler might want. Not the best internet, etc. Just a solid messaging phone with a full key bord. ...
