LG Rumor / Scoop / UX-260

I got this phone a few days ago. Today I accidentally pressed the speakerphone button. When I press the same button to turn it off, I get a "start command" menu to give voice commands. I cant find out how to just turn the speakerphone off, from the users guide. Help!

Does anyone know what or when the latest firmware/software update is for this phone? .

Still having issues with poor battery performance. and a couple minor issues with bluetooth and a motorola headset.

It Says you can send and receive email on the Alltel scoop but I cant figure out how to set it up help and thank you in advance

I am looking to buy an microSD card for my lg ux260 and i was wondering, what is the largest card i can get and still be compatible with my phone???? 2gb or 4gb??

i just checked out the alltel website and i figured what i was doing wrong.

in order to do three way when i dial the other number they must pick up frist before im able to connect the two calls

👿 my phone is suppose to be able to do three way calling and i can't get it o work.

someone told me that while on one line that i need to press send and when i hear the dial tone to dial the other persons number and then press send and then press send again to connect the two calls. well i've tried and tried that and it still doesn't work. can someone please help me out.

i have a question about the LG Rumor for Sprint!
does anyone know what type of file the rumor allows you to set for a ringtone?

i know only a few files i know.
some phones accept mp3's. well most do.
but ive heard of others. aac, and um qcp i think?

well does anyone know anyway?

Is there a service LED on this phone that blinks red or something when you have new text messages and such? Just curious...not a deal breaker or anything, but a nice touch...TIA!

🤭 I have just gotten the palm centro and my husband got the rumor---My pictures are great---His are terrible on the rumor. He is thinking of taking the phone back because of the pictures. He had an older phone that takes great pictures so he expected it to be as good as that phone considering it is also an LG and 3 years old. I thought maybe he has some of his settings messed up and would appreciate any help with this before we take the phone back. The pictures are dark even when brightened. Thanks everyone!!!!

Has anyone used the Datapilot Universal kit with the Scoop or Rumor....The reviews I read about Datapilot is not all the features work with all phones.....the thing i'm most interested in is if Datapilot will sink iCal with the scoop but any feedback is welcome....I know it says it will but I want to make sure it works on the Scoop before I spend 80 bucks....

Does anyone know how to download adobe flash player directly from my phone. When I try to play games it says to click on Link to download adobe then I get to adobe's site and I cant figure out how to download it. Does anyone know how to? 🙂

I wouldn't be surprised if this problem has already occurred but here goes.
I recently bought an LG Rumor from my friend. The problem is that it still has the phone number set as the previous owner's and it's all set up.
I was wondering how I would go about resetting the phone so that I can activate it on my plan? I don't have a Sprint Store around me so I can't just go down and have them wipe it. I already went into the "Security" options and did a "Reset" but it still has all the Phone Information and I need it to be totally clean so I can activate it.
Please help seeing as how my Samsung A640 is totally dying on me and I need this new phone ASAP.

😁 not that itsw a big issue or anything but what kind of customizing of ringtones can you have? like real songs (for example, bruce springsteen as my ringtone?)

OK so i just spent 240 dollars on another MP3 player?.. Am i to understand that this phone can on only basically send and rec text messages and and let me listen to music and make and receive calls?

i have not been able to set any photo id's for any of my contacts , unless i use the pictures I've e taken of them with the phone itself. ALLTEL is of no assistance. 😡

I am trying to use the pictures off of my computer that I have saved to a memory card and every time i try i get a error message saying "failed to set". WHAT IS THIS???? are the pictures to big and if so how do i make them small enough to use .

and another thing they should really advertise that this phone does not allow you to use ring tones that y...

I have the Green Rumor on Sprint, is there a short cut key to make the phone go into Vibrate only?

Anone know the key presses to enter the service menu? Curious as to what settings are there...had access to the moto i860 menu, and it was fascinating. Also curious about the PM 225 menu as well.

Ok i got my new phone today.I was playing with some stuff and locked it.Forgetting it was the lock button i locked it and now i cant unlock it i dont know the lock code that comes with it.Anyone know what the original lock code is?!?!?!?!?!?!?!if u do ull my a lifesaving hero
