i heard there might be a way to throw in a WAV or MP3 file into the windows folder to change the sound notification for text messages?

I answered this question for you in the Sprint forum. Hope this helps. Recap: MPTrim to cut song ... then finalized file goes on memory card but in NO folder. It will then show up as an option for that specific application 😈
