XV600 and missing calls
I am not sure if others are having this problem, but I was told it is known to verizon but there is no update yet.
When my phones backlight is not on, my phone will not ring or get text messages.
When i turn the phone on, all the missed calls come in at once.
Is there an upgrade somewhere that will work with the Verizon phone? I know sprint just released one.
Also will that upgrade fix this problem?

I was thinking of picking up this phone, since it is one of the few pda phones Vz offers without data plan. I hesitate because of the reviews I've been reading on this site. I was wondering the same things you had mentioned. I hope someone responds. I was also looking at the Centro.

My daughter had the predecessor to this phone (6800) and currently has the Centro and loves it. But keep in mind, without the data plan, you will not be able to send or receive pix and the keys are very tiny if that bothers you. Other than that, the Centro is a well built phone and the touchscreen is Palm perfection...
