HTC Tilt 8925 / TyTN II
XP/Vista Sync on Tilt
I have a desktop that runs on XP and a laptop that runs on Vista and I would like to sync the tilt to both of them. Can I do this? I like this phone, but am unsure if I can do everything I want with both operating systems.

I was able to sync to my desktop which has XP and to my laptop which has Vista. I haven't played around with it much beyond that but it appears to work fine. On a side note, the disc I got with the phone was defective and I had to go online to download the sync to my laptop.

I work for microsoft, this is a very difficult question to explain the correct answer to... in short, yes.
what you will need to do is...
step 1) set a sim password on the 8925
step 2) put the wrong password in the phone 3 times
step 3) when the phone asks for a PUK CODE insert the default code 8**54#7.
step 4) Select system link SETTINGS
step 5) Select SHARE,
Step 6) a list of compatible OS's will be available to check, the list should contain windows xp, windows ME, MAC 10x and Windows Vista.
Step 7) check the boxes you want the 8925 to work on at the bottom select confirm
Step 😎 it will ask you to confirm password insert the password you set up and you will be good to go!!!
