Custom Alarm Tones?

I was wondering, does anyone know how to transfer custom alarm tones through the data cable that comes with the phone? I have tried mp3 files that have been cut, wav files and ogg files, however none of the files play for alarms. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can use mp3 files, but they must be under the windows folder for your phone to recognize them.
