Lip syncing on Videos

All,

When I play any video on my phone, I notice that the sound is delayed, is there anything I can do to sync up the sound to the characters; it reminds me of a old kung-fu movie.

are you using divx or media player?

I believe I'm using Media Player; should I use some other media player; if so, which one would you recommend and do you have the link?
