YouTube not working
I'm unable to get YouTube to work. when I go to http://m.youtube.com/ and select a video, it tires to start realplayer and stops with "meida file type not supported"
has anyone experienced these types of errors and what's the workaround??
Thanks

don't think there is a workaround. i don't believe the tilt can do that which sucks

It's not really the Tilt that's the problem, it's the version of Real Player that's included on the Tilt that's the problem.
The Real Player on the Tilt doesn't include the proper codecs for YouTube, which seems like a pretty major oversight to me.
I'm not aware of a workaround either, though. Seems like it should be easy enough to create the codec, but since it hasn't happened yet there must be more to it that it sounds like.

Solution: Get a Nokia N series. I recommend the Nokia N95 or the N96! THey have integrated Flash and make videos of DVD quality: 30 FPS

Its got nothing to do with realplayer, its the tilt itlself. when HTC designed it, they never added video drivers to it. If you go to
www.xda-developers.com , go to forums, then scroll down till you see the kaiser (which is the tilt) click general and look in there, theres a ton of postings about it and they're trying to raise funds so they can get somebody to develope the drivers.

I saw someone say it was already created in one of thee reviews and they say it works fine...

If you go to the AT&T Forums, there is a link in a post for the "RvBCrS_HTC_Streaming_Media" which will install HTC's streaming video player.
Or, go to treocentral.com and there is a pair of CABs to install - tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.cab and FlashVideoBundle.CAB (you will find the info in the discussions, and you'll need to register to download).
With these apps you can go directly to full youtube (or Google or anywhere you want to get your vids from) as well as m.youtube.
Video plays great on my Tilt with these 3 installs.

Try downloading the Skyfire web browser, I hear it plays video.

It does. But I had to wait 6 months to be a tester. Worth it though. It's absolutely amazing!
