Looking for cdma and 850gsm phone
I'm currently on Verizon, who is completely CDMA. I also go down to Panama often, which is solely GSM850. I'm looking for a phone that I can use on Verizon (maybe Sprint..also CDMA)while I'm in the States, but also has an unlockable sim card slot to put my Panamanian sim card in. I've seen CDMA/GSM phones, but not ones with GSM850(800).
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ONE I CAN USE??

How Long?
How long do you think ATT will carry this phone?
I'm so tired of being with Sprint and I can't wait till my contract ends in November of this year! I will almost certainly switch back to ATT and this is a cool phone which I'd like to get.

Tilt freezes up
For some strange reason my Tilt has been freezing up on my lately... a few times per day. As a result, I have to do a hard reboot. Most times i have to take out the battery and reinsert it rather than pressing down on the on/off button.
It's very frustrating. What can be the problem here? Looking at the memory capacity of my phone - the storage memory that is in use is 95mb, 30 mb free (very high - don't know why) and the program memory in use is 37.25, 64 mb free.
Any idea on how I can fix the free prob and also freeing up some storage memory?

Would you trade in your iPhone for a Tilt??
Just curious if any iPhone current and past users considered this phone, and if they would consider trading the iPhone for the Tilt.

synchronizing Outlook Notes via Exchange Server
Is there something I need to set up in order to get the Notes in Outlook to synchronize over the air?
Right now all I can get sychronzied are my Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, and Tasks. Granted, I could just turn all of my Notes into Tasks so that they would sync, but it seems like there should be a way to keep them separate and yet still sync 'em up.
I've tried searching on Google, but all of the hits assume you're using ActiveSync on a paired connection with your computer. I'm not - I'm just syncing over the air using Exchange Server - and I'd prefer to keep it that way.
For those that have used both the 8525 and 8925 (Tilt)
Which do you say is better, and why?
How often do you have 4 bars?
New to the HTC Tilt not new to ATT service in my area.
So I'm wondering how many people with the Tilt have full bars of signal strength?
Since owning it I have yet to see full signal strength yet I've used other ATT phones that always had full signal. Doesn't seem to have any trouble with service despite not showing a full signal, I'm just wondering if this is a quark of the HTC Tilt?

"Service Depends on your area". 3G (WCDMA, HSDPA) phone yes, but NOT the service!
"Service Depends on your area". 3G (WCDMA, HSDPA) phone yes, but NOT the service!
"The service depends on the area your in", from AT&T reps, you'll get this. I've NEVER seen 3G speeds or anywhere close in the greater Seattle area. They refuse to file a Network Ticket!
Have a Tilt? Try this. Browse to a site that has streaming video using AT&T's service. Then turn off the phone radio, and try this via WiFi. Unless your WiFi is slow as dialup, you will notice a huge difference (e.g. little to no chopping). FYI, I'm on a PDA plan. Well over 10 sites that steam videos, all the same. It's not the WEB, its AT&T that is slow!
One thing I've noticed is that you will very good CNN streaming video if you use a device through the MEdia Max, ...

Lip syncing on Videos
All,
When I play any video on my phone, I notice that the sound is delayed, is there anything I can do to sync up the sound to the characters; it reminds me of a old kung-fu movie.
