Nokia 6555
Released................??
Have read that ATT "released" the Nokia 6555 on Sept 12th. As of today, Sept 14th it is not on Att.com or the Att Premier site?!
Any update information on availability? Have not tried my local ATT store in Austin. Usually use Premier to purchase phones.

I have seen the press release from AT&T which states that this phone is available as of Sept 12 in select stores and online. I was very excited since anxiously awaiting this phone. However, as of today Sept 14, it is not shown on the AT&T website, and when I called AT&T and asked about the phone...they say they have no information on it or when it might be released. Suggested I call Nokia. I called Nokia, and got the same thing...no information or when it would be released.
SO, can anyone please tell me what the deal is with this big press release from AT&T which states specific dates and pricing, but no one knows anything about it or why this press release was even released???

I got the same response, Nokia kept telling me it was still in eroupe, and at&t had no clue, so if you find any info pass it on. thanks

what is the premier site? also nokia said it had the vibrate feature but phonescoop shows it not, do you happen to know where I could find any info on that, the nokia site doesn't show it either, they told me it had it and it showed it in the guide, if you find anyinfo on release or phone please pass it on, I am wanting this phone too. at&t didn't know anything about it yet and neither did nokia, so if you hear please respond back. Technically it was made available on 09/12, however it was just hitting the distribution centers on 09/12-09/14. It should begin hitting stores 09/17 and be posted on the website 09/16.

I just got off the phone with customer service, it has been released but is not in the distribution centers yet. Comes in red or gold. But they won't be able to talk about ordering one for a few more days.

Well, today is 9/17...called two stores told me to try calling back next week. Still not on AT&T website...and response again from calling them is they don't have any idea when it will be available.
This is unreal that everyone is clueless regarding a phone that's press release from AT&T and Nokia said would be available on 9/12.

i dont see anything that makes this phone any different then the nokia 6126 that is currently offered other than the fact that it is 3g and correct me if i am wrong, also who cares about 3g the service is not up in many places where it would even be benifical to have.

It also has WCDMA, PTT and A2DP (stereo BT),,, and that's is a BIG DEAL!!

It also operates on a smartphone OS availability to open word, powerpoint, pdf etc etc. and SMTP, IMAP4, and POP3. Also the newer AVRCP (audio video)
