Nokia 6555
battery life?
Can somebody confirm or give their first hand experience. Thanks.
...i'm considering getting the 6555 myself, but this is a concerning issue.

If the phone's network settings allow you to switch from Automatic to 850/1900 then you will greatly increase the phone's talk times.
Unless you are actually using data services or you have a need for the extra voice security of WCDMA, then you might want to think about switching the network settings.
In the case of the Motorola V9 that AT&T uses, the phone's talk time is about 4 hours with the WCDMA radio, but it leaps to about double that if you lock it to 850/1900 in a 3G area.
Thank you, this makes a lot of sense & if you say that on the Moto V9 that the battery life doubles only using GSM & not WCDMA the it stands to reason why on Nokia's website for the 6555 they list 6hrs of talk time, but on Cnet they reported only 3hrs.
For me it would mostly be a/b the talk time, i don't use the data as much.
Thanks,

Also, does anyone know how to set the mini display to the analog clock? I can't find that in my wallpaper.
