Ringtones
Does anyone knows how to relay ringtones to Venus? I used to have no problems relaying to the phone like 6 month ago. I guess verizon blocked it? please help me! and does anyone having problems with installing the program it came out with? I have Windows Vista and having some problems...

I just got my phone yesterday and ran right into the same problem. I pulled all my personal ringtones off of my LG8700 with the intention of putting them on the VENUS. I was able to succesfully move them onto the VENUS from the MicroSD card but only as "My Sounds". I then tried using the Funformoblie.com website to load them as ringtones, but as you probably suspect VZW may be blocking it. So today I tried sending the file from the "My Sounds" file to myself and then saving it as a ringtone once it succesfully arrived in my IN box. It was succesful on one hand but not on the other. I was able to complete the transfer and transform the "My Sound" file to a ringtone once it arrived IF the file was small enough. That is the catch. On half of th...

Bitpim (.org) is free and uses the USB cable, included with the phone. It's supposed to work for all the functions (ie ringtones, contacts, calendar, etc), but I read in another forum that *calendar* messed up - so be careful. (I think they just used a different phone model and it worked correctly - ringtones are supposed to be OK though.)

Another question for ya: How do you make one of your little music files become a ringtone?
I've tried and even looked in the 'guide (Yes, yes, go ahead and giggle) and still I don't know how to make it happen. I'm starting to fear that it's not possible. D:
Please help.

Just go to Bitpim.org and read their support documents. You can make and transfer all the ringtones you want that way....
