Moley you seem to be the guru so riddle me this please.. How to I keep the media player from closing and starting the track over every time??? Not bad with a song but a 2 gig book it sucks.. Thanks for you help on the SD card issues I had. 😎

The only thing I can think of is keeping it paused in the background indefinitely. The music player is really setup as just that...a player for short tracks. It doesn't have any of the features you get with a more versatile mp3 player (like the ipod for example) that let's you set bookmarks, resume individual files, etc. This is a major flaw for me, too. I listen to podcasts that are many hours long, and if I close the music player app, I am stuck FF back to find my old spot. Sometimes I just make a mental note of the timestamp when I pause, so I can get back to my old spot. There is definitely room for improvement here. I think with the 2gb+ players, you should get all the options for bookmarking, resuming individual files, etc. To think no...

Thanks.. I tried leaving it paused overnight but it killed the battery (didnt think of that.. ooopss) so I lost my place anyway. I would be ok with FF if it was faster mine only goes in like 3 second clips.
