I'm looking at purchasing one of these two phones. Primarily to access my outlook and every now and then will have attatchments, send a few text, take some pictures, put some cool ringtones, and maybe even use it to a phone call or two.
In you guys opinion which of the two are better? For my purpose and just an overall basis. I have to say just off looks alone I like the wing because the keyboard doesn't just hang out there.
...
I love the keyboard of my wing. Also, the color is better. Never had a BB though, so I can only say how awesome the Wing is.
...
I have used both the curve is by far the better of the two. The wing has to much software on it and Windows mobile is about as fast as my grandmother driving to church. The processor (speed of the os) alone is almost double that of the wing. And the BB curve keypad is actually spaced well enough to accuratly hit the key your tryin to hit.
Note: Anyone who has this phone download opera mini 4.0 beta web browser. It blows the bb browser away.
...
Thanks guys!! Sounds like the curve may be the way to go. But I really want to lean towards the wing.
J Nizzle, 2 questions:
1) Is the processor ok when you don't have so many things running at once or is it just slow overall?
2) Does your grandmother make it to churcj on time? 🤣
...
I would have to say if she made it on time, the back seat passangers are very anoyed.
I just switched from Wing to Curve and love it.
The UMA wifi calling feature is well worth the trade. 😁

Blackberry's OS is not like Windows Mobile (WM). When I used a WM phone it used to drive me nuts that I had to actually go into each program and shut it down when the phone got slow. BB isn't like that. You and move from one application to another and it doesn't slow it down.
Three days after I switched from WM to BB I swore I would NEVER go back to a WM phone again. The Stability of the BB is amazing too.

YES BB 4 LIFE!! also download the opera mini beta browser!! i

Ha my grandmother does in fact make it to church on time.
As far as the wing applications go even when you shut them down the processor was just to slow for me. Not only would it lag but sometimes freez up. The wing is also a brick in both weight and size when compared to the slim freakishly light weight curve. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys for the info. It seems the curve is the way to go. If I were to go with the wing it would be because of the hide away key pad and touch screen. And the color isn't too bad either. But functionality goes with the curve. Funny how one can't satisfy all of your wants!! Well at my wants...
Jnizzle, glad she makes it to church on time. 😁

I was considering the HTC Wing, but after reading user reviews, I'm now considering the BlackBerry Curve for a future purchase. Does Opera 4.0 have an anti-virus and/or firewall feature?
How well do the web pages, both HTML and Flash, appear on the screen?
...
the wing is a craptastic electronic brick. go with the curve.
