The verizonwireless.com/Next website indicates the Pearl will have VZ Navigator, BREW or no BREW, but will only be availbale starting 11/08.

A little to my surprise my VZW Pearl does have VZN and it does not have BREW.
...
that would be an easy software upgrade later down the road though.... and knowing how vzw works... they want you to pay for everything...... i would not be surprised to see it rolling out later!!!!
