Verizon MMS
I have had the verizon blackberry pearl for a little under a weeek. The only complaint I have so far is the following: I can not get my pearl to send MMS messages. All it does is try to send it and then put the big red x by the message signaling it was not sent. I was wondering if there is a setting I need to fix or is this an issue I need to take up with verizon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks... MMS is working perfectly now. I was about to get really mad if I had to go to vzwpix.com everytime someone sent me a pic message. That is one of the big reasons I switched from the 8830 to the pearl. Thanks again.

nevermind, answered my own question. my roommate bought the 8830 today. no camera = no mms. can still view them through vzwpix.com as someone already stated i think.

I can send MMS messages, but I can not receive MMS messages with sound. Let me know if there is a setting.

For whatever the reason MMS doesn't always work right off with the VZW version of this phone. As mentioned remove the battery for approx 30 seconds ... then after powering up the phone try *228 or *221 to activate if needed. That should resolve your issue.

As said, all you need to do is remove the battery for about 30 seconds,but make sure you power it off first.
