Battery Pull
Hello,
I have had the 8130 for VZW for about 1 1/2 weeks now and have had to pull the battery about 4 times because of lockups. Mostly, my call log would not open and would freeze the phone unless I hit the end key. Today the phone function froze and I could not dial a number unless I rebooted.
Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

No mine works great. You should go to blackberryforums.com and search for the reset program that is free. It places an icon on your BB it is so much nicer not to have to do a battery pull. This program resets your BB.
You could have a software issue were something you have downloaded does not like the os you are using.

The reset program is great for a reset but your BB should not be locking up, you should exchange it for a new one.

Mine freezes at least once a week. Moreover, half of my screen goes WHITE form time to time. Sometimes, the phone acts very slow like a WINDOWS PC. Maybe I will take it to the store and get it replaced. Let me know how your phone is doing.

Same problems...I have to pull the battery once a week. I have the white screen too. I think its a common problem from reading different websites. Otherwise I love the phone...

The best thing to solve this problem is to install the Alltell O.S. it should fix most of the problems.
