Thinkin about getting this
I want to exchange my Glyde for the Pearl as I'm w/in my first 30 days and am getting tired of this non responsive touch screen. Was wondering if VZW locks out 3rd party apps being installed on this. I would hate to have a smartphone like this and not be able to fully utilize it bc the carrier locked those features out.

Ditch the Glyde and get the Pearl...you will like the small size and you can put as many 3rd party applications as your Pearl memory allows. Verizon doesn't attempt to block out 3rd party apps on PDAs/Blackberries.
