LG Vu / CU920 / CU915

How easy is it to press the touchscreen buttons? I ask because I'm disabled and I'm looking for an easy-to-press phone.

Also, will it work ok while laying flat on a desk?

Yea! I just figured out you can move the clock's location on the homescreen by tapping on it and dragging it to another location. No more clock in poor locations when setting a photo for your background! 🙂

does anyone know if the internet browser is going to be like the iphone

i read somewhere that 3g and media flo are 2 seperate entities running off different networks.. if this is true turning off the 3g wont cripple media flo correct? does anyone know this for sure >??

I received my LG Vu on Monday, and I've already had to charge the battery twice. I read in the Review section that turning off the 3G will help to extend battery life. I couldn't figure out how to d it, though.

I called AT&T to ask them, and the guy I talked to said I was crazy and that it was not possible.

Anybody know how to turn off the 3G function?

my wife got a text with a pic she would like to put on the home screen. does anybody know how that's done?

Does anyone know if it is possible to install a new language into the LG VU? I want to add Mandarin Chinese, or at least be able to read the characters.

I can't figure out how to stop getting alerts when I have a new email. It's not necessarily bothering me except for the fact that it beeps every time I have a new one. And I don't want to set it to vibrate or silence because I want to know when I have a new text message and the phone seems to put both of those in the same "message alert" setting. Is there a way to get text or picture notification without getting email notification?? I get so much garbage email that I would never want to check my email everytime it says I have a new one. Anyone else run into this problem?? Any suggestions??

can anyone tell me how to create different ring profiles (like slient , vibrate ) in LG CU920? i do not want to change the ringstyle everytime i want the phone to be in the vibrate mode or in the silent mode.

I'm having a devil of a time setting up a frend's LG Vu to work as a USB modem.

I set up my LG Voyager to call FreeDialup.Org when I'm not near a wireless connection. I'm using an old IBM thinkpad and XP with Verizon as my service provider. Works great.

He's using Windows Vista and I think the problem is we can't seem to find the correct the drivers for his phone. Every installation program people have posted on other websites/forums I've tried does not work.

His computer first recognized the phone as a CMDU modem something or another. Then we tried another driver installation program. Now it's showing "LG USB phone modem" in COM5 port under phone and modems.

We even tried letting Vista search for the drivers and it said his phon...

I went to an AT&T store today to purchase my LG Vu. I did not see it on display, so I asked if they had it in stock and the salesman told me that the LG Vu is discontinued. I was very upset to hear this because I was so excited about getting this phone. Does anyone know if this is true?

i just got my vu a few days ago. i want to put some music videos on it but i need to know what format the video has to be. if anyone knows can you please help me out? thanks

i can set the phone to ring and i can set the phone to vibrate but can i set the phone to RING & VIBRATE?

Hi, I just bought this LG VU CU915, according to the spec, it has a full html browser, so when I connect to yahoo.com, I was expecting to see something similar to what I would see from IE or firefox on a windows PC.

But I only see mostly text, I do see a little bit of pictures, graphics. And when I connect to youtube.com, I do see a list of pictures and when I click on one of them, the video does play.

and when I goes to maps.google.com, and enter a address, google came back with an web page saying my browser does not support map in google.com,

wondering if this is the expected behavior of the phone, or I had on old version of the phone and need some firwware/software update ?

is aim for the lg vu only work if you have internet or does each message count only as a text message

I was just wondering if anyone who works at AT&T or knows a lot about this phone knows if the price should drop down anytime soon. I am looking to get this phone and i the price is gonna drop on a month ill wait, if not ill get it now. Also is messaging still only 30 for every line for a family plan or is it different for this phone. I know for blackberrys it is different.

I am a new owner of the 3G iphone. I want a comparison. What is the battery life like on the VU? How is the call quality, how easy is texting, and what are the 3G speeds like. Thanks!

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but can anyone tell me whether or not you have to be in 3G coverage to take advantage of the MediaFLO service with the CU920??
