Where is it going????
SO ANY IDEAS OF WHO IS GONNA PICK THIS PHONE ON TO THEIR NETWORK??
...
It's best suited for AT&T's network, although I haven't heard that any US carrier will offer it. It may only end up being available unlocked / for import... I'm not sure.
...
I have been watching this phone on HTC's website for months now hoping that AT&T will pick it up by summer when I am eligible for an upgrade.
Verizon has the S720 version.
...
It would make the most sense for at&t considering that the HSDPA coverage for T-Mobile is virtually non-existant.
...
T-mobile wouldn't grab this because their 3G is 1700mhz....
Rafster
...
if this goes to at&t then they will remove the front camera since they don't support video calling.....
...
Probably, that at one time bothered me, now it doesn't, doubtful I would ever use it.
...
AT&T has video sharing...but you are right about taking the front camera off... they did the same thing to the AT&T Tilt (8925).
...
1700mhz uplink and 2100mhz downlink for T-mobiles 3G. 1700 will be on basic phones, and 2100 on smartphones (some might have 1700)
...
no it isnt they dont even have that netowrk in the usa, only in europe
...
AT&T supports video share& they already have the blackjack2, pantech DUO and the MotoQ9h why would they need another windows smartphone?
...
Because this is cool.
...
I'd love to see a good phone like that in America.
...
It has been a month. Had anyone seen any real news on a release date for a US version of this phone or witch carriers may official pick it up?
Thanks,
Curt
