HTC S730
I like this phone, but?
I have been looking at this phone on and off since this past fall, it is nice, it is good and it is too expensive for a smartphone. I see the S730 going for between $500 and $600 on the unlocked market, one can get a Touch Cruise or Kaiser for not a whole lot more, and they are full PPC and TouchFlo.
I can see spending like $450 unlocked. This brings up another question. Yes it seems to be superior to the BJ II, and Q9H, but with the BJ II going for $99 post rebate, and if AT&T decides to pick it up and sell it in the $200 or so range, would it be worth the difference?

in my opinion it's a better looker than the BJII and the Q9H. Probably the same functionality. Point blank, most ppl just want a cool looking phone.

I would have to respectfully disagree with you there. I go with both the looks and the functionality. They go hand-in-hand. I won't buy an ugly phone, even if it has all of the features I'm looking for. I have to have both! :c)
