really?? darn, morphing key pad looks so cool.

why not? can you be more specific? i was about to get it.

The keypad response is slow. The screen is so small it takes the internet pages forever to load. The Camera is great do not get me wrong and also the phone is kinda on the big side.

You are pretty much paying for the accessories that come with the phone. I decided to get the Shadow in stead. The phone was available to me for an upgrade at $269.99 and the Shadow $249.99.

I did the exact same thing you did! I got the E8 and buyers remorsed it and bought the Shadow instead...and I LOVE IT. I absolutley agree with you on how the key pad is slow responding, its on the big side, and takes forever to load. I couldnt find one thing I really liked about it. I ended up paying (all together) $307...where as I bought the Shadow on craigslist for $100 even! Granted I have to pay a little bit more for the internet but its well worth being able to check my email for business purposes, which will in the end make me the money back!

It's not super snappy, but it's not slow. just keep in mind its a Motorola.
It does have some substantial features. It has SongID, which it listens to songs and will tell you the artist, album, and song title after about 5 seconds. It did some pretty obscure bands as well. The music player is phenomenal and the morphing keypad is a awesome new take on cell phone looks and use.
The screen is unique, which the phone's menu system, music player, and camera work perfectly with it. The downside is web browsing looks a bit odd.
Its a new take on a phone, so don't just listen to people's opinions about it, go check it out for yourself.
