Sanyo PRO-200
Directalk
I'm 95% sure the answer is no. That feature used technology unique to iDEN and a special frequency band that I know these phones don't support.
The FCC rules for the PCS band might even explicitly prohibit that kind of function in these phones. (Assuming there were even a CDMA-based technology for it, which I don't think there is today.)
Anything these phones do has to involve the network, which basically means no DirecTalk.

That's a great question.

That's what I was thinking.
Too bad. This is a GREAT feature to have. ☹️

Anyone care to que me in what direct talk is?
It's like having a Moto talkabout built into a cellphone.
It's an off-network digital walkie with about a six mile range.
