LG enV2 (VX-9100)
Got my enV2 today. One thing I don't like right off the bat..
Like the title says, I got my new phone today, upgrading from the VX8100 (good phone, great quality). I got the enV2 when I got a text from Verizon saying I could upgrade. Called, they had this as an option there only, so I got it instead of the original enV like my gf has. But getting mine today, I noticed they didn't provide camera lense protection like the last enV. Her's has that little shutter that covers and protects the camera. This one doesn't. It's just always there, waiting to be scratched. Kind of disappointed with that.
Otherwise, while I'm still searching thru the phone and options, I'm liking it. It's a huge step away from my 8100 flip phone, and will take some time getting used to, but it's quite neat and elegant lo...

Adding to that, it doesn't seem to have a flash for the camera. Also kind of disappointing from the previous enV. Doubly so from the 8100, I used it as a flashlight before, turning the flash LED while flipped. Made a handy little light at times.

i've had the env2 since last wednesday, was a little leary of the call quality since i'm coming from a moto...but it's getting better with more use. as for the lens cover, i just kept the sticker on it. as for not having a flash...yes, it kinda sucks, but the low-light photos aren't bad at all. this little phone is growing on me...i think it's a keeper!

Call quality and all that seems alright with me. I'm really used to flip phones, so it's been kind of a suprise, but it works well.
I think it's a terrific phone so far. I really love it. I just noticed the few things I described that I didn't like.
I also noticed there is no auto focus like the first enV. It seems the camera is the part they cheaped out on the most. The rest of the package is excellent. The camera gets a B+.
I too am fond of my enV2, and so was the employee at the verizon wireless store today when we stopped by. 😁
