Not sure if that's legal...
Well it's a phone feature listed on phonescoop's info page for the phone.. Can record up to 5 minutes.
To the original poster, sorry I don't know as I don't have the phone yet. I will be getting it next week (am excited) and if you haven't gotten an answer by then I'll try to help you out.
During a call, hold down the "CLR" button (with the microphone), then it starts recording. Pretty easy to figure out once you know that it's capable, eh?
Still, though, I'm sure there are certain legalities of recording a private conversation.

I don't see myself using that feature though.
When the recording is to be, or later on gets, shared beyond simple personal use there must be knowledge that the conversation is/was being recorded. Ever heard "for future training purposes this call may be recorded" when calling a business. By staying on the line and continuing to have a conversation you give your consent to being recorded.
I use the recording feature for callers to give addresses and list, etc.. Common courtesy dictates that you tell the other person that you are recording. It is dangerous to jot down that address or the honey-do list when traveling 70mph on the interstate!
