Secret menu

Is there a secret menu for this phone? When I do ##program it says no secret menu. Thanks.

##program9100
##lgservicemenu
##debug

I think there is a help menu as well.

It allows you to make modifications to the phone. I personally use it to force the phone into 1X mode only and not 1X and evdo. With 1X only it makes the battery last longer as it is not searching for a evdo signal.

I use the mobil web, If i get ride of the evdo signal will that affect it. (thanks for your help and advise)..

I don't think so. I believe evdo is only for evdo related functions. My evdo is off on my 8350 and I use mobile web all the time.

EVDO is for high speed data.... your mobile web will work on 1x but it will be faster with the EVDO turned on and will be less taxing on the battery while browsing the mobile web

evdo is for everything but voice and text. sending pics, getting pics, internet, vcast, get it now, they all use evdo. they should all work with 1x (except vcast) but will be a lot faster with evdo.
