Backlight on Adventure keypad- info needed, please!
I have the Motorola Adventure, and I love it! My question is this. When the keypad is lit up, seems like the number 4 and number 7 are a little dimmer than the rest. Does anyone else who owns this phone, notice it on yours? I'm trying to figure out if it's just my phone, or if it's just how it's made. No big deal, but I want to be sure. Tropicaisland I read your review glad you like your phone! I think this is the best verizon phone in years! I'm so happy with mine too.
The number five key number is depressed for a reason, it's so the blind can have a starting point, it's normal! Don't worry about 4 &7 keys being a little dimmer..mine is like that too!

Hi ArmySF! Thanks for the reply. Thanks for explaining about the #5 key. I guess my phone is ok since some of your keys are a little dim. This phone is the best one around. Thanks for all your help and info! 🙂

My guess is they used a similar white light as to what was used on the Motorola V710. There are "hot spots" for the light and buttons that are further from the lights are not as bright. The RAZR, KRZR, MAXX, and possibly the V9m use a different kind of lighting which is even throughout but Motorola seems to be phasing that out again. I wouldn't worry about it though.

Thanks GuyinLACA! I just wanted to make sure my phone wasn't defective. Wish it did have an even lighting through out the keypad, it wouldn't look so uneven. Love the phone though!! Thanks for responding. 🙂
