Music transfer from PC needs Rhapsody?

As I read the Verizon info some more, it looks to me that in order to transfer music from your PC, you need a subscription to VCAST Music with Rhapsody (at $15/month) in order to make the transfer. Is this correct? Is there any other way to get music on this phone?

Thanks!

You do not have to pay $15/month to transfer music to your V750. Just need to get the USB cable to connect your phone to your computer. I'm running Windows XP SP3 and Windows Media Player 11. When the phone is connected to your computer, you will see it show up as another device. I have an 8-gig micro SD card in my phone. Just "drag and drop" your albums and playlists from Media Player to the Music folder on the phone.
The $15/month charge is to purchase unlimited downloads from Rhapsody. I just ripped my favorite CD's (and homemade CD's of old LP's and 78's) and put them on the phone.
The music player on the phone doesn't sound as good as my Sandisk Sansa MP3 player but it might just be the earphones that I have for the phone....

Thanks, KA7EII. I'm still considering this phone. It just looks like from the Verizon website that they require this Rhapsody thing with a subscription just to listen to your own music! BTW, I bought a Samsung stereo Bluetooth headset (SBH500) recently at Best Buy on sale (around $60) and it works great for music.
