no verizon in september!
as much as i love phone scoop- i suggest you look at phonearena.com once in a while, as well. also, as someone that works in the industry- the THUNDER is what's coming to vzw next- and it is all touch screen an, well, pretty lame. i would never get another all touchscreen smart phone- never. there is the "niagra" but that's for next year.

ya who needs touch screen, it sucks! even on the iphone. i mean have u tried txting like you normally would on your curve? its impossible to hit all the right keys in a sentence 😳 id choose a trackball over touch screen anyday even if it is pretty sweet when ur surfin the web, its not worth it.. now if i wanted to surf the web and be on youtube all day (and do absolutely nothing else) then i might consider the iphone. then again, if i have the time to sit there and do that, im most likely at home where i can use my PC 😎
GO BOLD!!! 😁

I have tried the iPhone, and I chose to stick with my Curve. I can browse with full HTML experience (Opera Mini), I can watch videos on YouTube! (yes, streaming video on a non 3G phone, been running 4.5 device os for over a month and not a single lock up, interface looks nicer and I can record vids now too...and yes I know the 4.5 is "unofficial" but it works perfectly on my 8310).
I figured I was old fashioned by wanting to feel an actual keyboard, but then I've been reading various surveys of people who use touch screens in general for texting and the overall feeling is accuracy is lower and frustration is higher with touch screens.
Not to mention my screen is not covered in finger smudges.

Where do you get 4.5 from?!?!
Thanks!

What do U know about the Blackberry Bold being offered by dozens of vendors on the internet and E-Bay.
I have contacted many of them.
Each one claims the Bold ins compatible w/ Verizon, unlocked & fully functional for $200-$300 and returnable if not satisfied???
...
I would call that "SCAM ALERT"
...
How do you explain the Blackberry "Bold" being
offered by so many vendors on ebya and on the web.
Each one swears they are unlocked, fully functional and operate on Verizon wireless, & they are selling them for $200-$300.????

Who are you talking to or responding to? I am not sure what you are talking about even applies to this thread... maybe I am missing something?
...
Ebay? you are seriously going to use EBAY as a reliable source to justify the means?
Ebay also sells time machines, maybe you can go back in time and provide us with the answer
