LG Chocolate 3 VX-8560
Trouble with BitPim on the Chocolate 3
I got the Chocolate 3 Last week and downloaded the new BitPim the other day. Whenever I plug my phone in it says "found other CDMA phone" but not mine! When I manually select the phone it fails.
Anyone else having similar difficulties? What can I do to get it to detect my phone?
I'm starting to think that it is my phone and that there is a setting that I need to change. Help me out, thanks.

Need version 726 beta. Then sync data not music. I use bitpim and works fine with 726 beta.

Hey, is that the 1.0.6.20080804 version? I tried that to no avail, is there any other setting on the phone or computer I need to change? Thanks for your help.

BitPim (the new beta one) worked fine for me. It recognized both my old 8600 and my new 8560, and I was able to transfer all my old contacts and ringers from the old phone, to the computer, and then to the new phone. I didn't transfer old messages though. I want to start with a clean inbox.
