LG Chocolate 3 VX-8560
Same as 8600?
This phone looks essentially the same as the LG8600. Same shiny outside. Same metal banding. Is it the same?

It's very similar, which is why I just got it... cause I love my dying 8600. 😢
I just took the microSD card out of my old phone and stuck it into my new phone, and the photos, vids and music all work... except for the purchased VCast music... that makes me mad... I hate copy protection.
The battery's not the same. The charger is not the same. It's slightly thicker. The speaker grill goes right across the bottom of the phone, not out of a small hole in the left bottom corner, like the 8600.
I loooove the FM transmitter feature! While I also love having the 3.5mm jack, I don't understand why they put a removable plug on it... that's obviously going to get lost.
It has a better camera, so there's a higher resolution for b...

the only phone i have seen record higher videos (640x480) is the dare, and it does it very very well 🙂

The Dare is really nice.. I'll give you that. But I like flip phones, cause I like having the keys covered. I wish the 8560 didn't have the dial on the front, like I didn't like the red touch screen arrows on the 8600 either.
The Dare was what got me to look at the phones again... but it was the 8560 that caught my fancy. Plus it's a $100 cheaper... which made it FREE!!!! That was the deal maker for me.. 😎
