Speakerphone

I was considering buying the Chocolate 3 but I had a couple of questions regarding the speakerphone.

Does this phone have a dedicated speakerphone that can remain turned on at all times and is the speakerphone auible enough to hear?

I had a VX8600 and the speakerphone was a huge disappointment. Which could only be activated while in a call and wasnt loud enough to hear when activated.

Well, I don't use that feature very much. All I know about it is, that it only works with the phone opened. You can turn it on/off whenever you'd like. It sounds okay as far as quality and loudness. Not super quiet and not super loud, just decent I'd say.
