my only complaint
I love my new 8360. The ringers are loud, reception great, blutooth great BUT I can't down load any weather programs.I work outdoor and ride my bike alot and looking up Accu weather radar was great. I might have to return it for the chocklat 3vx8560, which does have the Accu weather available.

I see that Verizon is offering a new service (it costs) that is GPS specific for WX Alerts. It's on the front Page of Phonescoops and also on Verizons site.

I'm not looking for alerts. I like to look at radar and make my own decisions.All of my other Verizon phones did that.

GO TO THE WEATHER.COM AND SET UP TXT TO YOUR PHONE... WILL SEND YOU A TXT WITH THE WEATHER EVERY MORNING

I can get the weather ever morning on my computer. What I liked about my previous phones with accu weather was the ability to look at radar during the day-which helped me decide on starting a new job on a roof or packing up and leaving before the rain arrived.Nothing could replace instant weather/ radar.

The weather applications such as Accuweather and Mycast will come shortly. They always lag about a month or two after a new phone is introduced.

But as I found out..... if you had the
old contract. You paid a few dollars per
month and used air time.
Now you will continue to pay a few dollars
per month. But you will also pay for the
amount of information downloaded.
This will add up and can really add up.
