how can i dowload ringers for the rant other than purchased ones from sprint.

Just got the rant, great phone so far, but i use to get free ringers/games from funformobile.com or myxer.com which allow you to make your own ringtone, but for some reason i can't download from these sites to the rant it only downloads the purchased ones from sprint... anybody know any other way?

This phone physically stops you from downloading ringers from third parties ??

try going to waptoys.com and see what happens when you try to download a ringer.

yeah and then you get charged all this butt load of money for 3 ringtones they aren't free you know lol

update to the new software version that just came out today. this will allow you to download content from 3rd parties.

Tools>Update Phone> Update Firmware

I have been able to download free ringtones from funformobile.com since i did this. 😁
