I don't want an Iphone... I don't need crackberry or its plan... I have a VU, Shine, and nokia 6126. I am of course due to work responsibilities and personal life becoming more complicated am progressing toward a smart phone or pocket PC... I compared alot of the new phones coming out and feel this would be next in line for this natural progression... Too bad I have to buy it third party... If I buy it from ATT they want you to change your plan and all sorts of inconveniences like that...

You don't have to get the data plan. You can use wi-fi, or even get the Media Net plan. That's what I used to do, and it worked fine.
