Optical Mouse?
What do they mean when there saying optical mouse? Is there literally a computer mouse that comes with the phone?

The optical mouse is nice. The screen is fully touch, but the mouse makes it more accessible without relying on the stylus.
The center button under the screen is touch sensitive, when you move your thumb over it, it moves a mouse pointer on the screen.
The optical mouse can be reprogrammed as a directional pad, but the mouse is amazing.

i agree. i didn't think anything could get better than the track ball blackberry uses, but a few minutes with this thing and i want it just for that feature!!!

Imagine an optical computer mouse, but upside-down, and embedded in the phone.
If you take an optical computer mouse, flip it over, and move your fingertip over the optical sensor, you can make the mouse cursor move on the screen.
This phone works the same way. You move your finger over the black thing in the center to navigate around.
