Iphone problem

I purchased my iPhone last friday just like a lot of people and I upgraded from the 2g to the 3g iPhone, but I have been very disappointed. First, I have not been able to get over 400kbps on 3G and I thought we were supposed to get around 900kbps to 1.5 kbps? I am also disappointed that the 2.0 firmware seems very buggy. Second, I know I have 30 days to return the phone, but if there 3G service is going to be this bad I am thinking of moving to another carrier. Would I get hit with an early termination fee for this?? Any insight or advice would be appreciated.

You would be wise to return the phone. I returned mine yesterday. It is terrible! I live in Suburban Philadelphia and the 3G is almost non-existant. The phone is cheaply made and has the worst battery of any cell phone I have ever used. It is worth paying the ETF just to leave the sad and horrible service of At&T.

I'm having the same dilemma. I have not done a "speed test" but the 3G on it is not near as fast as I thoght it would be. The battery life sucks...I'm now thinking it's not worth to fork over $50/month for unlimited text and data for a phone just because it "looks good". Anyone else thinking about returning?

returning the iPhone would probably be wise, but the AT&T 3g network should be running MUCH faster than that.

Now, I've been saying it all along, it's old technology in a shiney new package. (yes, I'm an iPhone hater. I'll admit it!) I'm not trying to go over the specs again, or whatever. I've argued that point over and over, and if you're not going to listen to me, then screw it. With that being said, the AT&T network is the best network out there. The largest, the most reliable (verizon made that up), and the FASTEST. If you're having trouble with connection speed on the 3g network, it's probably your phone.

The Blackjack II at least has a dual core processor. And the Tilt and motoQ have the fastest internet speed. It's just a matter...

they could have done was make it thicke. They could fit more features in it like bigger battery etc. The phone it self is still increadable. There is no browser or touch screen that even comes close.
