Pop up text message
How can I stop the text msg preview from popping up when I'm using my phone, I turned off the sms preview in the setting menu and that only stopped it from showing up when the phone is locked. Am I just stuck with this issue, or can something be done?? Thanks in advance.

While your information is accurate, the OP clearly stated they already knew how to stop the alert on a locked phone. So, while accurate, you've provided no new info.
The answer to the OP's question remains, "no". If you're using the phone (ipod, browsing, email, etc.) and receive a text, it's popping up on the screen.
Is this different from other phones? None that I've used have had a feature to turn off the text alert while active.
