VoIP with GPRS instead of WLAN
Hey everyone,
Is it possible to use VoIP even with GPRS instead of just WLAN? My E71 comes with the Gizmo VoIP application but I can't seem to get it running with GPRS... I want to be able to make free long distance calls even when I'm... Does anyone know anything about this?

In general - utilizing GPRS for voice calls may violate your carrier's service agreement. I have been using Gizmo VoIP on my Nokia phone and it appears to only allow VoIP calls over wifi networks. I have only been able to utilize IM chats using GPRS.

You should know that Att will not help you to get away from burning cell minutes. The best voip service that I have seen out there for nokia is truphone (www.truphone.com). It works with wifi and 3G. Gprs might be to slow. You can also use fring to make skype out calls and msn calls. Hope this helps.
