at&t cost per month on E71
I've heard since this a unlocked phone that its only 15 bucks a month for unlimited internet instead of the 30 bucks a month that they would make you pay for a smart phone to have internet if anyone can let me know if this is true that would be great thanks.

I would take the $15 rate, since they didn't sell this phone, at&t can't track it as far as what it is via imei. If you go to your online profile and use an unlocked fine, it shows a blank on your phone model.

not true, i currently have an unlocked blackjack2 and att website almost immediately recognized it. i switch phones often and it switches online when i switch sim's in the phones...

AT&T's will recognize their own phones and display them on your online account, they won't or can't if its not one of their phones. An unlocked/unbranded e71 bought outside of their stores or resellers will not have the imei on account, they won't know.
