Nokia E71 / E71x
Where is this phone available ?
I've got a friend talked into buying one. I see someone mentioned "Best Buy", and my local AT&T corp. store says 1st quarter. Where else are they ... ? She'd be a new customer, so I bet there's ways to get one cheap! I'm in SE Mich btw, thanks !

Depends on if you feel safe buying it online or not. My local best buy did carry the unlocked version of the E71.. not certain about yours. Since she's a new customer and she wants the E71. I think the best way would be to sign her up with whatever plan she wants and either get one of the free or relatively cheap phones.
Then all you do is move the SIM card over to the E71 and setup a few options and you're good to go. Supposedly AT&T MIGHT (not certain) release an AT&T branded E71. But no clue when that might get released.
As far as online ordering I trust Newegg myself. Decent enough price.

I did call our local corporate store, and they said "any day now" .... supposedly early march ish. And this was any random guy answering their phone, knowing exactly the model I was referring to right off the bat. Who Knows ???
