E71x Wi-fi capability

Is E71x wi-fi capability limited to only AT&T wi-fi spots? Or can it be used with home WLAN network?

I just bought the phone yesterday and it worked on my home Wi-Fi or WLAN to be specific. One warning though my wireless linksys router was set to use both B and G service (mixed) I had to set it to G only. Good luck.
