HTC Touch Pro (CDMA)
Verizon sticks it to its customers
They are charging more money than anyone else, and they have given less capability than anyone else. Great how that works.
They have cut the RAM in half, choosing to give you 128 MB of RAM instead of the 288 MB that it has by default and is offered in all the other carriers phones.
The CPU is at the full speed of 528 MHZ however Verizon has not been able to verify whether the accelerometer is active.
I know that I really wanted the RAM for applications that I need. They did the same thing with the XV6800.
The fact that they downgrade their phone and charge more for it is disappointing
If Verizon doesn't even know what they have in their phone, then I dont know what to say.
I will know for sure what Verizon has in their phone as soon as I have a chance to see it in the store.
The Verizon website is incorrect and the phone really does have 192 MB of RAM. However, with Windows Mobile and Touch Flow 3D running, there is only 60 MB of usable program RAM left. This really stinks in my books.
