Advocate Waiting
I did not have enough time to fully do everything I wanted on this phone when a customer wanted a phonebook swap. I do however have a few questions for those reps who do have one. The manual for this phone online @ HTC.com in support states that the landscape view is not available for compact qwerty or phone keypad.. Does this mean that full qwerty is available in landscape mode? I could not get this feature to work. Plus I could not get the standard mode for yahoo.com. I veiwed the options menu for the web and only saw a select or deselect for mobile veiw. Either way I was not able to view the so called Operas real internet the way it is supposed to be viewed. Full charge mine knocks out a day and a half with regular use, heavy use it's getting most of a day. Killed off all the extra stuff on it? Have you tried bumping the SCI up?

This might be dumb but what is SCI. Like i said i havent even done the Sprint TV or Sprint Navigation. Im serious I fully charged it one day and didnt receive any calls or text messeges closed everything in the background and locked and dimmed the backlight to the lowest setting and I took it of the charge at 9:00 before coming into work by 1:00 it was dead. and i have tried a different battery that didnt work either so im trying to figure out if it is possibly the phone that might be the issue.

Well, if you're not aware of what it is, it might not be good to mess with it. SCI is the Slot Cycle Index, it's kind of the Achilles heel of CDMA networks.
Are you in a corporate store, or a third party that also got blessed by HTC with an advocate handset? If you're in a corporate store, have one of your TCs run it through an "Auto" test on the Cadex, takes about two hours, that'll give you an idea if it's a bad battery, or if you might need to try something with the handset. Make sure BT is off, if you have e-mail set to auto-sync every x amount of time, set it to Manual. Make sure you disconnect it from the web when you're done using it.
