but seriously people want the iPhone because YOU decide what apps the iPhone has while your Versa is stuck with Verizon's UI. for ease of use the iPhone is unparalled not to mention battery life is better on the iPhone! 😛

iPhone is awesome. the OS on there is probably the best OS I've ever used on any phone I've ever purchased. It's so seemless and the response time and accuracy is on point. A lot of R&D went into the iPhone, which is why it's awesome than these other copy cats that churn out phones every 6 months (not enough R&D into it).
But the iPhone is not on the VZW network so I wont bother because I value my coverage more so than the iPhone. But I'll always play with my friends iPhones when i get the chance - tap tap revenge baby!

Compared to many dumbphones, yes it is. However compared to what one would expect from a "smartphone" it's severely deficient in respect to things like bluetooth support

Ok... let's break this down for you:
The Iphone is a smartphone, just like blackberries, the Samsung Omnia, etc. This means that if it was on Verizon's network it would NOT have the default UI.
Just because a phone has a touch screen does not make it a smartphone. so your arguments are invalid.
And the iphone has a terrible battery life, especially if you enable the wifi (something that everyone likes pointing out it has)
