Samsung Omnia i910
3G capable?
That would be the only thing that would turn me off this very sharp looking phone.
I do have some other issue but they are minor. I am not a fan of the proprietary connections that require adapters to even hook up a set of earphones.
I do love the idea of the optical mouse though.
EDGE is a GSM technology, so that's not relevant. You might be thinking of the i900, which is the GSM version of the Omnia.
The i900 and i910 are two distinct phones.
"Yes" to "3G capable?"
"No" to "Is it true that this phone will not be 3G capable in the USA"
In fact, it won't work at all in most countries outside of the USA.
it has something to do with the differences between European and North American networks and software licensing.

Fast forward to the 3:10 mark for his comments on the operating speed.
The Verizon one is the i910, and it's CDMA; completely different guts.
Looks like this will be a sweet phone. I just wish the screen was a touch larger.
Can you clarify about the world phone, I glean from your posting that this is not a world phone?
