Proprietary

why did they do all of the proprietary wiring? I was so happy about the FM radio but I don't want the special wires needed for this phone. I like everything else about it. It seems that even phones are governed by Lord Murphy.

That is one of the only things making me reconsider this phone. I do not want to have to use adpators for everything.

Yes, me too. It actually removes this phone from my list of acceptable phones. I don't want a device will all of those wires. Why make a sleek machine and then tie it down like that.

come on... bluetooth stereo guys. there are plenty of discontinued headsets you can get a good deal on... no wires. an adapter is no big deal for the radio function

No BT headsets for me. They are expensive, fall off, and I cannot use them on a plane. ☹️

FM will not work with BT headsets. Needs the wire of the wired headsets to act as the antenna. You may think that sucks, but hey, what other phone out there has FM radio built in? So if you want that extra feature of FM, deal with it and plug it in.

BTW, as for a feature missing from a popular phone that would make it off my list is Bluetooth stereo. The iPhone DOES NOT have BT stereo. Therefore its off my list. I need BT stereo to work with my Snowboard helmet speakers.

Actually to use the FM Radio you need to plug in the proprietary cable first before it will let you scan for stations.
