Lag time for Dialing and Text messaging
for anyone who has used the i760 and the 6800 WM-based phones, you know that when you a dialing out, it takes forever for the numbers to appear on the screen.
how does the omnia fare wit that? is it as quick as an iphone or does it still lag and take forever??
also,
is there anyone that switched from a full-slide keyboard to the omnia and its touchscreen? i text a lot and want something that works well.. that is the one great thing about my 6800, texting is the quickest/easiest/best on the slide out.. tell me what u think please
and lastly,
omnia or touch pro.. which do you suggest (take the $$ issue out of it; imagine they were priced the same)

i went from the voyager to the dare and now to the Omnia and I LOVE the Omnia!!! The virtual full qwerty is the best ive ever typed on. So accurate and precise!! The lag is not really there. This is also the first PDA ive owned and especially with it being Windows based I love it. The features are insane with this PDA. Data package is required!!! FM radio works great and the camera takes excellent pictures. Opera is fast and love the tabbed browsing!! Only downfall I had was I couldnt get the WiFi to work as it wouldnt even turn on but I did a Hard reset and now it works fine! The DLNA is nice too...love hooking it up to my laptop and PS3 wirelessly through WiFi and transferring music!

how are you getting good querty? I think that is one of the worst features of this phone. Compared to the manual keys, this virtual keyboard is awful.
